Taki Japanese Restaurant

First timers here, but it won't be my last. Absolutely one of the freshest and most tasteful sushi restaurants I have been to in a long time. I ate 6-7 dishes (try the scallops special off-menu), and everything was fantastic. The owner and her staff are very gracious making the dining experience even more pleasant. Go try it. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent outdoor dog cafe!🐕‍🦺🐕 The food was reasonably priced. Although I have had better Japanese food that was not on the menu here, my lunch with my dog was a great experience. Those brownish orange “picnic tables” are clean and colorful. The olive tree and umbrellas provide great shade. It is far away from the parking lot so no skateboards or scooters can disturb my dog. My waitress was extraordinarily happy to serve me and gave my dog a bowl of water - he actually drank it, yet he NEVER drinks out of bowls at cafes. I guess he liked the waitress too🐾🐶! That was a wonderful lunch with food to enjoy and seeing my dog so relaxed.

Fresh Sushi & Friendly Service in Novato We visited Novato and were in the mood for sushi, so we found Taki Japanese Restaurant online and decided to try it. Taki is in the Pacheco Plaza Shopping Center, tucked away in a corner with a few other eateries and a coffee shop. Since we had our puppy with us, we chose to sit outside, with plenty of shaded tables. Our server, a very friendly lady, seated us and gave us enough time to look over the menu. To start, we ordered prawn and vegetable tempura along with miso soup. Both were delicious. We shared a combination dinner with sesame chicken and sushi for our main course. The dinner also included miso soup, tsukemono (Japanese pickles), cabbage salad, and rice. Everything was quite enjoyable, although the sesame chicken had more breading tha

Bummed they didn’t have holiday closed hours listed on their website, on Google Maps OR in their voice mail. We’d made plans to meet here for dinner but had to make a quick change of plans.

Great, attentive service. The food is very good. The dining experience is pleasant, both indoor and outdoors. My family enjoyed our first dining experience here today 5/25/2024; we are all from out of town. We visited again , from out of town, Sat 03/15, still delicious.
