South Novato Library

The Shop, the makerspace next to the main library building, is such a helpful resource for the community. I go here to use their sewing equipment and get advice for how to use the machines. Apparently they also have tools for bicycle maintenance, woodworking, etc. Excellent space for adults and for children with supervision.

Everyone here is so helpful and friendly. Specially Cris! I love their programs to help students and their volunteers. Thanks Marleen. They could use a couple of extra tables, but other than that it’s a great, clean, and quiet place to study, read and work. I also like the fact that this place keeps the A/C at a reasonable temperature not freezing mode like other libraries. Keep up the good work! 😀📚📕🪷🌸🫶

The South Novato Library is a gem! It offers a welcoming atmosphere with a diverse collection of books, helpful staff, and modern amenities. The community programs and events enhance its value. The staff and librarians are awesome. A great resource for Novato residents!

Clean and mostly quiet. Computers, copiers, fax, etc. Small DVD collection. Kids & teens areas. Small but efficient.

I love the South Novato Library! It's a little gem that has the most helpful staff, and a great variety of materials for all ages. The space is bright and sunny. It is MY library. Thank you for the wonderful curbside service during Covid 19. I look forward to visiting when you are open again.
