Take out on August 31, 2025. Stop complaining about the noodles being cold when you bring them home. Just warm them up for 1 minute in the microwave or eat it in the car. It’s not a big deal, not sure why this has become a point of conversation in these reviews. Food was delicious. This is special food from Xi’an, China. Thank you for bringing this chain to the DMV. Hope to see a proper sit down restaurant soon. 谢谢!

First of all, it is not DoorDash Only, I don’t know why the title says that. You can order from the official Xi’an Famous food website or the Four Mile website. I have visited this restaurant many times before in NYC, including the flagship Flushing location. Happy this one opened in the DMV. The good: the burgers are on point, the cold noodles are yum. The bad: the flat wide noodles do not travel well. I had to drive 30 mins home after the pick up, and the chew in the noodles probably lasted maybe 3 mins after I started eating. The taste is good. They need to open a spot with seats so the noodles can be enjoyed immediately. I heard they are actively looking for a Maryland location with sit-down options. Can’t wait!

So glad Xi’an Famous Foods has finally made it to the DMV! I took my parents to their NYC location many years ago, driven by homesickness after weeks of traveling in the U.S. The chewy, hand ripped noodles instantly transported us back to northern China, where wheat noodles are widely loved and celebrated. They still remember that meal to this day. Fast forward to now, I ordered via DoorDash after doing some research. Since it’s a shared space with other vendors, there’s no dine in option, and the parking and pickup process can be a bit confusing, as others have mentioned. But nothing you can’t figure out. We ordered the lamb and pork noodles, cold gluten salad, pork dumplings, and pork burgers. We reheated the noodles after the car ride, which softened them slightly, but the flavor was

Drove over for pick up(only option) on a Sunday afternoon around 2:30. Be aware the pickup location is behind the 7-Eleven. Parking is difficult and very tight when busy. There is no where close to sit and eat. Also when you ask for cutlery they don't include in your order they put it in a basket for you to grab. No napkins. Forks were grab and go and not wrapped separately. You walk in find your order in the website based on text and a locker opens with your food. Pretty straight forward interesting concept. We ordered 3 different dumplings. These were probably our favorite. Cucumber salad was very good. We also ordered 3 different kinds of noodles. Lamb, pork, and beef. All were good though we were hoping for more. One friend who goes often to New York mentioned the noodles weren'

An honest review from a longtime New Yorker who used to walk 10+ blocks every week just to get my Xi’an Famous Foods fix: the taste here is exactly as I remembered from the NYC locations, so that’s a big win. I highly recommend the spicy lamb hand-ripped noodles and the stewed pork burger. My favorite dish back in New York was the cold noodles, and while I didn’t realize this location’s version comes without noodles, no problem—I just cooked some at home and added them in. The sour hawberry tea was the perfect palate cleanser after the rich, spicy meal. This location is a bit far for us, and since there’s no dine-in option, the food had to sit through a long car ride - unfortunately the noodles got a bit soggy. But I was happy to read in other reviews that the ghost kitchen setup is temp
