Haymi BBQ & international grocery

Went in to buy coffee a few weeks ago with no intention of getting food. The owner mentioned that his kitfo is the best and I didn’t have anywhere to be anytime soon so I just sat down and ordered some. I’m glad that I did, because it was indeed the best. Staff is super nice and the food is amazing.

Stopped in today for lunch after driving by many times. Food was delicious and was cooked fresh to order. Quality was superb. I got the tibs and was blown away. Owner asked if i wanted it spicy and did not disappoint with the level. Injera was very on point as well. Be ready for leftovers, so much food I'll have lunch for tomorrow, and all for under 20 bucks. Can't wait to try something new next time.

Hands down the best Ethiopian food I have had. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and spices. The food is not overly spicy but is flavorful and has a homely feel. Since it’s made fresh, it is highly recommended that you place your order in advance. Haymi is a great host, very friendly! Would highly recommend.

Easily the BEST kitfo I’ve ever had. I stopped by this Ethiopian grocery store that recently turned into a restaurant, and the manager insisted I try their kitfo. I wasn’t even planning to eat—but wow. It was insanely fresh, perfectly spiced, and made with homemade nitir kibbeh (Ethiopian spiced butter), which took it to another level. You can taste the love and tradition in every bite. The mitmita had the right kick, the kocho and gomen were on point, and the texture was buttery and rich without being too heavy. Did not expect to be this impressed. I’ll be back—for the kitfo and to try whatever else they’re cooking up.

I had such a great experience with Haymi BBQ! Haymanot brought us an amazing selection of dishes, all beautifully presented and full of flavor. I really enjoyed the kitfo, tibs, and awaze tibs each one was delicious and prepared with great care. The kitfo was definitely my favorite; the taste and texture were just perfect. This is not a promotion I'm simply sharing the truth. Haymanot was also very friendly, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll absolutely come really soon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic and tasty food!
