TAKE Sushi & Bowl

This place is a great place for a quick bite to eat. It's ideal for smaller groups of one to two people. I ordered the tofu bowl with tofu, edamame, seaweed, red onions, and a cup of miso soup. The miso soup was savory, salty, light,and nutty. My tofu bowl had the perfect combination of sweet and nutty, chewy texture, and sharp and pungent red onions. The gentleman who made my bowl was quick, efficient, and hospitable. I highly recommend this place.

Wanted to like this place. Nice takeout package, friendly and fast service. But.. the sushi is not good. Rolls are meh.. sushi pieces a lot to be desired. There are better options.

5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Joe is truly the heart of Take Sushi & Bowl. Today, his kindness and warm energy really stood out. You can tell he takes pride in preparing each roll with care and treats customers with genuine respect. That kind of sincerity is rare and it does not go unnoticed. My boyfriend and I love this sushi. We rave about it constantly. The only time we’re upset is when we’ve finished every roll and there’s none left. That’s how serious it is. Today, I literally waited a full hour for them to open. I sat in the bubble tea shop next door, spilled tea on myself, messed up my jacket—but I still didn’t leave. Because this sushi is worth it. Their poke bowls are superb. Their tuna is always fresh and whenever you come to this place be ready to be served with such politeness. I no longer live in the city but if I still did I’d come here for lunch everyday.

These guys have quickly become a takeout staple for us! The ingredients are fresh and the two gentlemen there are always at the top of their game. I love watching them cube salmon off of a full size sushi grade filet to prepare each order. 10/10 recommend!
