Taiwan Bear House

Been craving some Taiwanese fare so Taiwan Bear House was on my list of places to try on my food tour. Popped in right before dinner time and food came out very quickly. I ordered the bento box which includes the main dish (I got braised pork belly), sautéed cabbage, a soy braised egg, and rice. Very good, authentic flavors. The space itself is small and quiet, so much so that I could listen to everyone’s conversations 😆 All in all - I recommend!

The food was delicious. Although I pre-ordered for Hungry Panda, it took longer than estimated (There were no customers when I arrived), A person arrived to just place her order and I still waiting. Food is different than pictures/presentations but it's still delicious. I didn't expect much and I wasn't disappointed either... So it's okay, I'm satisfied 👏

My boyfriend is half Taiwanese and he LOVED the popcorn chicken, the braised pork Beto box and the sausage!!! RECOMMENDED 100%

The bento boxes are delicious here! I was so hungry to dig in that I only remembered to take a photo halfway through! The crispy chicken leg was freshly fried so ultra hot and crispy and perfectly seasoned. The minced pork over rice was so delicious and flavorful, reminded me of home. I was very happy with my meal. Definitely recommend Taiwan Bear House for a tasty and satisfying Taiwanese food experience!

I wanted some good Taiwanese popcorn chicken and the reviews here looked promising, but I was very disappointed. The chicken smelt bad and tasted gamey, the seasoning wasn’t sprinkled on evenly and it was just greasy overall. Customer service wasn’t good either. Save your money and go somewhere else 🥲
