Best bacon cheese fries I have ever had! My family and I pass through the area about once a month and decided to try it for lunch today. It will be our permanent go to lunch spot when we pass through from now on. We all got burgers which were fantastic. Service was great and fast, price is reasonable and portions out of control. There was absolutely nothing for me to critique.

Decided to have lunch here on a last minute whim. So glad we did. The menu is very straightforward. You cannot go wrong with whatever you order. We got the fried pickles, bacon cheeseburger, 🍔 fish sandwich and a small order of fries that we couldn’t finish between us. We did manage to get them home to share with our dogs who also gave 4 paws up. The presentation on the burger was unexpected it it came out better than the professional pictures you see in ads. Seriously. Great service and really tasty food. Would recommend.

Their burger are exquisite, taste just like homemade. Their fries are good, the onion rings are way above average quality, and the fried mushrooms are absolutely delicious. Their customer service is quite phenomenal. They made a mistake with my order (forgot my onion rings), I called, and they tried to right the wrong. Inevitably, they weren't able to make the delivery for the onion rings. So, today, I asked for a refund of the onion rings. They not only accepted that, they went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. In my opinion, this is the best burger shop in town. Warmly greeted at the door, which we later learned was the manager. Promptly waited on us and brought over a wet towel just to make sure our table was extra clean. Our party of five ordered hamburgers, french fries, onion rings, Philly cheesesteaks. Burger was fresh and hot and it tastes like it was made with fresh meat. I tried the Philly cheesesteak and was one of the best ones I’ve ever had. This is a place you got to take the time to go eat and experience this local gem.

December 17, 2024 - Our 2nd time dining at the Tailgate, it’s a local diner with Good Burgers & Shoestring fries! Locals sometimes refer to this as “Broad Street Grill” , founded in 2005 by Jeff & Pam Graves.
