TACOS LOS ALTOS RESTURANT

Stopped by the food truck tonight for the first time and ordered the burrito bowl with cactus. It was absolutely incredible! The portion was so big that I had dinner and have lunch for tomorrow. Thrilled to find a quick vegetarian dinner that keeps my money going into a local restaurant.

Enjoyable brunch, lunch, and dinner spot with options for outdoor seating. Parking can be difficult but that isn't under the control of the restaurant. It has good food and nice professional, friendly staff. For those with mobility issues there may be some issues around tightness or access especially for those in wheelchairs.

The food was decent -- not amazing but also not bad. The service was quick and responsive. The restaurant is very small and cramped, though there is a nice portch on the front with outdoor seating. No dedicated parking, but you can park on the street or around the corner.

I wanted to like it the girl who helped me with my takeout order was great. I was dying for chips and cheese, dip and tacos and deep fried ice cream. I was so so disappointed. The chips had no salt, The cheese dip for the chips was like plastic didn’t even really heat. It was just like an orange yellow plastic coating. It was so strange. The tacos were decent but oily-The refried beans weren’t good. Nothing was fresh and my deep fried ice cream had stale cornflakes on the outside that you couldn’t even chew. I don’t know what was wrong. Even the ice cream wasn’t good. I can’t even eat it. And it was $32!!!!! I’m so upset. I wanted to treat myself so bad because I had a few extra dollars finally So disappointed,

Last night, I decided to venture out of Durham and try someplace new. Unfortunately, I am unable to rate the food or the service. The restaurant was a little cute and I liked that they had old fashioned coke and fanta. After arriving for dinner with my friend, I never received my food. I spoke with the server about ordering the quesabirria tacos and consume, even asked about ordering an extra taco was told two would be enough to satisfy me. We placed our order, my friend food came out, our drinks came out, other tables food came. I assumed quesabirria take a while as they have at other restaurants I have visited. When I inquired about my order I was informed the server didn't hear me. We paid the check, left and went somewhere else for me to get food.
