Tacos El Canelo

This place was good for for tacos and cold brewskis. The shared parking lot isn’t very big so large groups might have issues finding parking in the same lot. There was a few transients near by which made you feel a bit uneasy but there was no incidents with them. The staff were as friendly as they could be. If you’re in the area I’d check them out.

Saw this Mexican restaurant and wanted to try it out during lunch. Not crowded inside, plenty of space to sit. Wednesday afternoon Dodger game was on TV and I was able to enjoy my food while watching the game. Drink fridge is fully stocked with different choices of beer and soft drinks. I order the 3 taco combo, two asada and one pastor tacos served with beans and rice. Taco meat was tender and not chewy, delicious corn tortillas. Tortillas not homemade but warmed up well and tasty. Salsa bar had a great selection. I asked for their spiciest salsa and was directed towards a tangy avocado salsa. I feel my palate can tolerate heat and the spiciest salsa here registers as “medium” for me. Would come back to try their large menu. Menudo seems available all the time. Parking lot is small but no

Tha food is good but prices are higher than other places., by the way my favorite plate is Costillas rojas and the micheladas are good taste. If you like spicy I recomend it.

Service was welcoming. Food was fresh and made with pride. Guacamole was made to order. Need to come back to try the fish taco. Father and son run business family owned and run for 23 years.

The food was fabulous. The first place we’ve eaten 🍽 at since the 😷 . I had the Caldo de Rez and hubby had the Menudo! Delicious! 💗 🇲🇽 Flavorful! It gets busy though but they move through the crowd fast. Great customer service!!!!! 🙌🏼 Handmade tortillas!!!!
