Tacos De La Calle

FINALLY have great Mexican food in Walker! Tacos De La Calle is a very exciting new addition to the city of Walker, MN. Positioned right off the main road, they feature a drive-up only restaurant specializing in tacos, quesadillas, burritos and bowls as well as a couple dessert options. For drinks they offer assorted Jarritos sodas as well as Mexican coke. We tried a little of everything and we couldn’t be more impressed. All of the tacos were not only presented well, but the flavors and ingredients were all so fresh and vibrant. Tacos: Out of all of their protein options, we liked the birria and the shrimp the most. Great mexican joint around the area! Living in California and Chicago I've definitely been to some great places and this taco joint compares! Hearty portions and fresh ingredients! You will not be disappointed! Drive thru and walk up only.

Very nice place! Ordered online and it was very convenient was able to go over on my lunch break and pick it up with ease. I have a burrito and it was packed full with goodness good size for 14 dollars and very filling. Very flavorful not bland at all! I also had a shrimp taco, shirtless was not over cooked at all, seasoned well. Staff was very friendly. I will for sure be eating there again.

The food was amazing! They have a good balance of order to deliver timing. This is exactly what Walker needs. I've had a lot of shrimp tacos and these are by far the best ones I've had in MN. The flavor is perfectly balanced and juicy. I also had the shrimp bowl and it was really good. They give you a lot in a portion. Also appreciate the amount of sour cream they give you. Only suggestion is adding the pickeled onion to the bowl as well. Churro cheesecake was yummy and a fun mix up to other desserts. Not too sweet and lighter than expected.

Service was extremely quick. Food was fresh, flavorful, and high quality. My group tried the chicken, steak, and birria tacos, and a steak burrito, and spent around $35 with tip. Portion sizes seem good for the price compared to most restaurants I've been to in the last year. Both the salsa options (mild & spicy) were quite mild. I would likely come back to Walker just to eat here. Appears to be drive-up/to go only.
