Taco Time

The beef soft taco was skimp. more and more of the meals are pretty skimp these days. My taco was about as big as pack of smokes, more tortilla than anything. I wouldn't usually complain but this isn't unusual quality from what I have seen and heard. I wonder if it has anything to do with the relatively new ownership? Wasn't even that good. The cheddar Mexi Fries are bomb.

I'm not usually one to leave bad reviews but I will not go to this taco time. The service is terrible. The manager when I have went in a couple times in the evening is so anxious and on edge and very loud so everybody in the restaurant can hear her anxiety. She berates her staff. Leaves customers waiting for very long time before taking their orders and sounding very unprofessional about it. Really if you look at my Google I mainly leave good reviews but I just don't think somebody should be managing a place that is so unprofessional. She might just be a shift lead but I've had her each time I've been in and her stress bleeds through the lobby and back into the kitchen. This place is a disgrace to the diner that used to be there, the staff in the diner were always good and the food there was good but the new taco time is herendous. Not good. I do not recommend going here. The older gentlemen who took my order legitimately forgot to put the meet in my taco! He was also very rude if I could leave zero stars I would.

Was closed on Sunday. One of the busiest travel days in Evanston so no taco for me

For the people complaining that there’s no crispy burritos all the time, I work here and our highest selling products are the crispy burritos. We hand make EVERYTHING. We make everything ourselves. It’s time consuming. And we are limited to how much we can make and sell so we don’t completely run out of product until the next truck comes. We work our hardest and try our hardest to keep customers satisfied. When we are disrespected we bite our tongues. For the older lady who works the window with a loud voice, she has a hard time hearing and she is a loud talker. She isn’t being rude. We tell the customers what our manager tells us to. If she says it’s a wait, then it’s a wait. If we aren’t to sell any more burritos so we have some to sell the next day then so be it. You guys complaining ab
