Los Gavilanes Mexican Grill

I have probably eaten here over 50 times and I can safely say that not once have I had a subpar meal. Every single time I have eaten here the food has been fantastic. The prices are fair the portion size are great and the waitresses are super accommodating. Everything is fresh fresh fresh. This is my go-to place to take people for celebrations and visitors from out of town. You will absolutely not be disappointed.

The food here is excellent! The service and everything about this restaurant is awesome. If you ever read any of my other reviews you know I don’t say that very often. I gave a 5 star ⭐️ rating because that’s how good the food and service is. It’s a hidden gem 💎 in Blackfoot, Idaho. See photos attached. The enchilada suiza was perfect. The chips were made fresh on premise not “fresh out of the bag” like other Mexican restaurants. The bean dip was fresh with a little bite to it. The salsa was excellent with just enough spice, not overly spicy. Overall, it was excellent and delicious! The price was comparable to any other Mexican restaurants. Thank to the server!

Again for a small town in Southeast Idaho this place is a real gem. Truthfully this is some great Mexican food. I've worked with and eaten at the homes of many Mexican-Americans and this place has home tasting cooking. I usually pick one of my two favorites to gauge a restaurant by and I chose the chicken-enchilada mole and this is some of the best that I've had in years. My next try will be the carnitas and I'll update after that. Blackfoot you are truly blessed with some great restaurants, support them and keep them around.

We ordered take out today and it was so much more than I had expected. The best Chili Colorado I’ve had in a very long time!!! The prices are so reasonable and the staff were great. I can’t wait to dine in soon!!! Definitely worth driving from Idaho Falls to Blackfoot.

I really enjoyed my time here! They were kid friendly and had a very large menu to choose from. I highly recommend the enchiladas. My only concern is that they likely cook with seed oils but I couldn't get a firm answer. Overall I recommend!
