Szechuan House never disappoints, but their lunch special curry chicken with wonton soup is on another level. The curry chicken is packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and tastes incredibly fresh, SUPER SPICY JUST HOW I LIKE IT! — you can tell real care goes into every dish. The wonton soup is comforting, rich, and full of tender wontons that make it the perfect pairing. Huge shoutout to Fong, who is always amazing and makes every visit feel welcoming, and to the cooks in the back who consistently put out top-quality food. You can taste the freshness and effort in every bite. This is hands down one of the best lunch specials around. Great food, great service, and great people. Folks. This is your go-to place if you’re looking for a good Szechuan place in the area. Tbh I don’t have high expectation for Szechuan restaurants in American suburbs where most of the population is not East Asian or otherwise not familiar with spicy foods. This place is so so good!!! Every dish I tried so far was so tasty and rich in flavor. - Bear in mind that dinner entrees do not come with any sides (rice or soup). -Lunch has smaller portions but still enough for one person. - The staff are very friendly. I always feel welcomed. - The hall is very small and is mainly for takeouts I think.

My family and I were in the mood for takeout as we were discussing the Szechuan house came up in discussion but neither of us had tried it yet. So we decided to give it a go! The menu was fairly easy to understand, although I feel like if every food item had a picture ( some did on grubhub) it would be easier to understand what is what! The gentleman over the phone was so pleasant and made the ordering process efficient! I went and picked up the food with no problem at all, the place was very tidy and nice on the inside. I brought the food home and we were BLOWN away, the food was incredible and the portion sizes were perfect! Everyone loved their food and was equally impressed. This is strictly a to-go place. I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh the ingredients are and the amount used to season the dishes. All of the food looks hand crafted, like the spicy dumpings and the scallion pancakes. The hot pot chicken really delivered on spice. I loved every bite as sweat rolled down my forehead.

I loooove Szechuan House! The spiciness is REAL, so prepare for that, but everything is so flavorful and so tasty. Work your way through the menu for a yummy adventure. The service is great, too. Very friendly, welcoming staff. I highly recommend them!
