Sweet Roux

The environment is calm and relaxing, the food was cooked perfectly with flavors correspond to my pallet very well. We had the chicken bacon ranch tacos, and the maple bourbon burger! Both were served quick and cooked to a T! The menu provides a variety of food to choose from. If your looking for a place with a diverse menu u for a picky family to eat everyone is surely to find something they like here!

Great little place. Friendly service and fantastic food. I had the Reuben and onion rings, both were amazing. The wife had the Cuban sliders with fries. She said the sliders were good and the fries were OK. Father-in-law had the Biscuits and gravy and the Peach cobbler, which he enjoyed as well.

Great service and good food. Chicken ranch tacos were delicious 😋. My wife's fajita salad was good but not great. She said next time she'll get the burger or the 🥩 steak ! The real star was the cracked chicken bread bowl... Wow very good!

The food was delicious but….it took an hour for our food to come out over the course of 15-20 minutes so we all ate at different times and they ran out of food on the brunch menu but wouldn’t offer the regular menu either. I called weeks in advance to book for a larger party (13 adults) and they confirmed they could do a reservation and party of that size. I also called the day before to confirm our time and party size and they said “yup!”. The food was good! But it took FOREVER and after 30 minutes they said “actually we ran out of _____”. It was underwhelming in those regards. I wish they had told us (we all drove over 2-3 hours) that they weren’t equipped to handle a party of that size at that time.

I will preface by saying i have had food from Sweet Roux before, delivered at that, and it was absolutely delicious. So imagine my surprise when we decided to have my sister's birthday dinner at Sweet Roux, fully expecting the same quality cuisine. We left extremely disappointed. I ordered steak frites, cooked medium. What arrived was a tough-as-leather, extremely salty, well done hunk of barely edible beef ribeye. At least the fries were acceptable. Perhaps most baffling was the discovery of a rather large, marble-sized chunk of mud or clay found in my sisters house salad. It was brought to the servers attention, who seemed embarrassed. The salad was quickly replaced, but went uneaten. Nearly everyone else in our party was either unimpressed or wholly disappointed with both their meal
