Finally had a chance to stop here , its now going to be on my regulars list. Food was awesome, I had not had grape leaves in years . It was perfect. Nice Greek salad & my wife had the Greek version of a steak & cheese. All was good

Really great first experience! It’s hard to find authentic Greek food in this area. The owner/chef even came out to check on the guests. Will definitely be back.

I just tried the restaurant this morning and loved it! I came in for a carry out order in which the hostess was super nice and patient while I created an order. The food was hot, and omg you have no idea what a huge plus it is to find authentic Greek cuisine, the food was phenomenally delicious! Highly recommend for those looking to switch up food options, as the meals are refreshing and not harsh on your gut if you have autoimmune conditions!

My wife and I were in Culpeper today to attend her uncles service at the Culpeper National Cemetary. After the service was looking for a place to eat. My wife and her uncle are Greek and I noticed this gem while looking through Google. We decided to go in his honor. Charlottesville has many Greek owned restaurants but our trip to Albanas was our first time at a place that served totally Greek cuisine. I can't think of the right words to describe our experience that would do justice. I think I have found a new favorite restaurant. The food and atmosphere was so delightful and amazing. The food was so fresh and everything is made in house. The pita bread melted in your mouth and my wife and I ordered the Gyro and we both commented that as Gyro fans it was the very best we had the pleasure to

Albana’s Tavern is absolutely fantastic! Every dish was bursting with fresh flavor — perfectly seasoned and beautifully prepared. The chicken was tender and delicious, the salad crisp and refreshing, and the tzatziki sauce and hummus were some of the best I’ve ever had. Even the cappuccino was spot on! The restaurant is spotless, and the service couldn’t be better — warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. To top it all off, our food was delivered by the most adorable little robot, which made the whole experience even more fun. This is our second visit. Albana’s Tavern is a true gem — delicious food, great atmosphere, and impeccable cleanliness. Can’t wait to come back!
