Sweet-O Donuts

Go here. This place is pure old-school donut-shop perfection -- no frills, no trendiness, no nonsense. Just a simple counter, friendly service, and donuts that taste like they came straight out of a time machine… in the best way. The real story is the freshness. These are the kind of donuts that are still warm, soft in the middle, and perfectly crisp where they should be. Nothing feels stale or mass-produced. Every bite has that “how is this so good?” thing going on, and honestly, it’s hard not to think they might be the best donuts on the planet. If you want fancy décor, you won’t find it here. If you want the freshest, most ridiculously satisfying donuts you’ve had in your life, you absolutely will.

This was my husband’s childhood Winchell’s donut shop. We returned for his 50th high school class reunion and stopped here for nostalgia’s sake. The present iteration did NOT disappoint! They have the most delicious cherry donuts we’d ever had. The glaze were better than most and the service was even better than that! I wish Sweet O Donuts was located in the Centrsl Valley, but we’d be in big trouble. Delicious donuts 🍩; warm, friendly service…it all made “coming home” that much sweeter for my Fullerton boy.

I love this donut spot!! The staff is friendly and the donuts are always fresh and delicious. They don't have the chalky, waxy feeling (I think associated with using too much shortening instead of butter?) The buttermilk, chocolate chip, and jalapeno ham cheese croissants are my favorites!

The best consistent donuts I have had in a long time! The tiger tail and French cruellers are legitimately tasty & just the right amount of doughy and sweet.
