Love the DIY concept here. You can choose different types of rice cakes, veggies, proteins and sauces. The portions were generous and the flavors were solid. It really gives off Korean street food vibes right here in LA. The garlic sauce chicken was especially good, and the cheese balls were a fun add-on. Definitely coming back to try different combinations.

I came to Dookki with my mom & boyfriend for an afternoon lunch and it was absolutely delicious! The restaurant presented tteokbeokki in a way I’ve never had it before. It was a select your own toppings type of restaurant (which I personally really liked because I’m not the biggest fan of fish cake in my tteokbeokki LOL). They have different combo options, one also including their K-fried chicken! We just got their classic combo, which came with 2 sides and 2 drinks :) They have canned drinks (I got a milkis). Flavor wise, absolutely delicious! Not too spicy, but not plain if that makes sense. The food textures also stayed chewy and not mushy, and their fried foods stayed crunchy despite it taking us a second for us to get to eating them. The tteokbeokki stays on a small flame to keep it

We tried their popular combo and it did not disappoint! 🍲 Tteokbokki – Soft, chewy rice cakes in a perfectly sweet and spicy sauce. Super addictive. 🍗 K-Fried Chicken (Honey Brown Sweet Honey Glaze) – Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of sweet honey flavor. Definitely a highlight. 🍚 Dookki Rice – A little hidden gem! Mixed with the sauce and slightly crispy at the bottom, so flavorful. We also got the Mixed Fried Snacks: • Sundae Fry – Crispy outside, soft rice inside, fun to eat. • Sotteok Sotteok – Sausage and rice cake skewers with sweet spicy sauce, very street-food vibes. • Mini Bungeoppang – Tiny, crispy little fish-shaped pastries with sweet filling, perfect dessert. Overall, great flavors and fun to share with friends. Highly recommend!

Finally got to try Dookki after hearing about it on insta for a while, and it did not disappoint! I came with my husband and the experience was honestly great from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is welcoming, the restaurant is very clean and organized. It was our first time trying DIY tteokbokki, and our server Nabi truly made the experience. If it wasn’t for her, we probably would have been overwhelmed by all the options. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable while explaining how everything works. She helped us choose the right sauce combinations and checked in on the spice level we preferred so we could get the best flavor. The DIY concept is honestly one of the coolest parts of this place. You can build your own tteokbokki exactly how you want it and even mi

We celebrated our son’s 10th birthday since Dooki Ttyeokbokki is a family favorite! We decided to try the classic combo which was a great deal for family of 4. Also, for add ons we enjoyed the cheese fries which is an intricately combo of sweet-cheesy of different flavors than anywhere else and yummy cheese balls. And dooki rice hits the spot when coupled with the one of a kind tteokbokki. Environment is aesthetically pleasing, staff is friendly, and we look forward to returning!
