Sweet Lady Jane Studio City

Such a cute, delicious cake spot! I tried the Berry Cake and Princess Cake, and both were perfect consistency and temperature. Princess Cake stole the show for me, with amazing buttercream and fondant (which I typically don’t like!!). The Berry Cake was light with fresh berries. Both cuts of cake were bigger than expected and priced rightfully so (~$13 each). Limited seating next to a busier street, but typical for Studio City/LA lol. Parking out front is paid but if you turn down residential streets (watch for signage) it’s free. Staff were also friendly and patient as we decided. Highly recommend if you want to try some delicious cakes and crave that not-too-sweet buttercream!!

We have been coming to SLJ’s for over 29 years… I got my baby shower cakes here and each of my 3 son’s birthday cakes over the years! Triple Berry is our all time favorite and my 78 year old mom says they have the best lemon bars on earth!! The walnut bread and chicken curry sandwich’s are also AMAZING!!!

Yum!!! Tried The Beverly today and it was so yummy! I’ve always loved their Triple Berry Cake. The cakes are beautiful and delicious. The staff was so wonderful. Attentive to every need, and the store was sparkling clean and had such beautiful ambiance! Great place to meet friends for a slice of cake or pastry, or order a full-size cake for an event.

I purchased a $160 birthday cake with an image printed on top. I sent 2 emails and 1 call to make sure the faces on the image won't get cut off or out of proportions with the circle format of the cake. They told me it was going to be OK. The day im picking up, they show me the cake and one of the faces in the picture is cut off because of the circle format. At that point there's nothing to do because there is no more time, is birthday date. Damn... $160 cake trying to impress and they didnt do the job. Never again to this place and pay so much money for a cake that is not even good to show.

This place is bright, clean, and surprisingly quiet even late at night! It has that old Hollywood glam vibe with gorgeous chandeliers and classic black-and-white photos along the walls. The customer service is truly stellar. Pro tip: ask if they have a fresh batch coming out when you arrive! And OMG… the chocolate chip cookie is absolutely divine! 🍪✨
