Susie’s Delicatessen

Had breakfast here and ordered the salmon and egg, it came with a crispy latke, labneh, and a perfectly jammy egg. The flavors were such a good balance and worked really well together. We sat outside on the patio with our dog, which made it even better. The food came out quickly and everyone was genuinely kind. I’d definitely come back.

Seems like a nice community spot run by nice people, but the food just wasn't worth the prices. We had a half Susie Ruben, a half Tony's with fries, and a Matzo soup which ended up costing a little over $50. Food was ok, but nothing special, and the portions left us hungry. Fries were probably the best tbing we ordered. The space was quite nice though, and I can see why it the spot would be appreciated by the community.

From the moment you order your food, you are greeted with such kindness. We dined in and ordered the fried cauliflower and split sandwich. Honestly the service was amazing. They are so attentive to make sure you have everything you need. The food was so good too. Highly recommend this place for lunch. So happy I finally got to try it. Sorry there’s not photo of the sandwich we devoured it.

Susie's Delicatessen is a must! The cocktails are not only delicious but beautiful! The marinated peppers and boquerones were so good I could eat it every day.

This Richmond gem takes Jewish deli vibes up SEVERAL notches: from the expertly curated decor and branding, to the sandwiches that are all sauced and seasoned to perfection. Susie’s is cozy, the staff is so friendly, and most importantly, the food is just as good (ok, better) than bubbe’s!
