Customer Reviews
We tried Sushi Pier Tahoe and overall had a decent experience. The sashimi was okay, but it didn’t feel super fresh or high-quality compared to top-tier sushi spots. That said, the portions were generous for the price, which makes it a good value if you’re hungry. The Sierra Roll was the standout—really delicious and definitely something I’d order again. Customer service was nice and efficient, though a bit neutral rather than warm or friendly. Overall, a solid option for reasonably priced sushi with good portions, especially if you’re craving rolls more than sashimi. 🍣
Went for dinner Really great, the whole staff was really sweet especially our server Pam she was great really attentive. I went with my son and a friend and her son, and with two babies and other people there the service was still great. Got some rice and avocado for our kids. Really big pieces of sushi definitely worth the price. We went around 4:30 for dinner and it was a great time to go especially with kids not too busy. Will definitely be back.
Food is just ok, not as good as I expected from others review, the look of food mostly looks good until the rainbow roll come… it is so different from other sushi place 😆 sushi restaurants decorated American sporty style… service is average. No dessert from AYCE. And sorry, use credit card will be charge extra %.
The staff here was kind and well attentive for sure. The vibe was great like most sushi places. For $45 for AYCE you do get your monies worth because their sushi pieces are HUGE. Nigiri cuts were about twice the size as we’d normally find in Reno- Food was great, but would’ve liked smaller bite sizes for sure.
Gotta try the all you can eat, delicious options, great atmosphere and friendly staff! Small service problem was that some of the waiters confused appetizers with other customers repeatedly.
