Sushi Matsumoto

Fantastic place in Lexington for lunch or dinner. The bento box is a fabulous lunch and we love the sushi rolls. For dinner the chicken or beef teriyaki is a great way to go as it comes with veggie tempura and a starter soup and salad. The tofu bites make an amazing appetizer and are wonderfully silky after the crunch of the coating. Prompt and friendly service in this small and worth it restaurant.

This restaurant is a 10/10 experience. Having spent time in Japan I can say the food is authentic and delicious. The ginger dressing on the salad, ramen bowls, gyozas, tempura and sushi were on another level.

One of my favorite places to eat in Lexington. The food is delicious. I especially like the chicken teriyaki, ramen bowl, and octopus balls!

Very nice place, clean and presentable. Welcoming atmosphere. Its a narrow building but still comfortable, didn't feel too cramped. Service was quick, friendly and professional, more than you'd expect from a small place like this. The food was in good sized portions, tasted very good and the delivery was very aesthetic. Although considerably pricey, it was worth it.

Return visit for us High quality texture and flavor, particularly the mackerel, fatty tuna, salmon, eel, and snapper nigiri. The Louisiana roll with cooked crayfish is delicate yet mildly spicy. Fried dumplings have a nice thin wrapper and were delicious.
