Sushi Komi

The lady and I have been a handful of times and we always really enjoy it. Get to pick your own food that looks great or try something new. She talked me into eatting octopus lol. Not my best choice but it was fun. The waiters are so nice and attentive. The only thing I will say is dont get the clear sake my lady got it on a whim and it was dry and hard to drink (unless you like your sake that way) the pear was pretty nice. All around if you know what you are doing. I love this place absolutely 5 stars!

Thai tea was perfect, and the hot stone plate teriyaki salmon literally came out on fire—fresh, sizzling, and full of flavor. The salmon bowl was really good too, super fresh and satisfying. On top of that, Su is hands down the best owner we’ve ever met—welcoming, kind, and made the whole experience even better. Amazing food, great energy, and top-tier service. Highly recommend Sushi Komi!

Great first experience here! Many people have said this has been their go-to spot in South Salem and I agree! Every plate we tried was fresh and the Chinese ice cream was really good!!

The food looked and tasted like it had been out on the belt all day…I tried one bite and had to spit it out because the seafood was FUNKY and it tasted like warm mayonnaise!! We couldn’t eat the plates we pulled due to the lack of FRESHNESS. We paid and left with in the first 10 minutes. Definitely not a normal dining experience for someone to leave immediately, you’d think an employee would inquire on the full plates to offer a discount or something but nope. Sooo many better sushi places.
