Great pizza, and the spinnies are excellent! The pizza has a semi-thin but dense crust. It's a little more chewy in consistency than say a typical NY-style pizza. The toppings were fresh and tasty. The place is a little out of the way for us, but whenever it's convenient, Penny's will be a go-to pizza spot for us. Definitely one of the better pizza options in Salem!
Got some pizza delivered for me, and totally real and not made up at all, smoking hot girlfriend. This pizza slaps. The sauce is super good, and the bread is delicious. They have all the toppings you could want. Would highly recommend giving this spot a try.
I have always been curious about penny’s, and now that they are located in the Reed Opera House, I had the opportunity to try a slice. I had a slice of their Hawaiian pizza. What sets it apart from other traditional Hawaiian pizza is the thick chunks of savory ham, juicy pineapple pieces, and sausage pieces throughout the slice. my pizza was delicious, but it was slightly charred in some areas. so If you don’t mind your pizza being touched by fire in some places, this is a good pizza. The drink selections were where I was most pleased. They offer A’siciliana craft soda, which are delicious. I had the blood orange flavor, and it was so good down to the last drop. Their cookies are also good, with the right balance of soft and crispy . Staff was friendly and helpful when it came questions an
Really great pizza made with premium ingredients, you can truly taste the quality in every bite. The chocolate chip cookies are amazing too. Everything feels thoughtfully made. Can’t wait to come back when the spinnys are back!
Cafeteria pizza at best. I ordered a plain cheese, and a Hawaiin pizza for another person, both were awful. If you like pizza that has less taste than a Digorno frozen pizza, along with dough that is barely flavorful and not cooked this is your place. Not worth $5. Terrible.
