Even with glowing reviews, I didn't have my hopes up - and I was wrong! This is the epitome of small family run Mexican restaurants - great food, good prices, friendly staff, and no kitchy gimmicks - the food does the talking. We tried birra tacos, a burrito and Asada tacos today. All were excellent, piping hot and generous. The table salsas were also very good, especially the avocado crema salsa. Now I just need reason to be back in Salem!

Very good food. We had tacos de pollo, asada, lengua & tripas. They were very tasty. The rice and beans were good, not great. Service was apathetic; not rude, but decidedly unfriendly. Order at counter, food brought to table. Soft drinks only (fine, but good to know). If I lived here I’d get the tacos on repeat and take them home.

Absolutely excellent chicken burrito! Reminded me of the burritos I used to be able to get in Albuquerque, NM. Wonderful flavor and spices! Awesome, homemade tortilla! And the Horchata was perfect! Looking forward to returning and trying more menu items. (My wife had a Chorizo breakfast burrito, and she LOVED IT!) Thank you for a great meal!

This place is actually fantastic. Food is all round really good, however I say this with my chest when I say that they hands down have the best breakfast burritos in Salem. And it’s not even close. They don’t stuff 2 pounds of half cooked fries with 1 egg like Muchas gracias or victoricos/habaneros. You can actually taste every aspect of their breakfast burritos. The price is not terrible and the food is fantastic. I definitely recommend.
