My husband and I were in Chinatown and I honestly was overwhelmed with the amount of options, I ultimately ended up just googling ‘soup dumplings’ and this restaurant was closet to us. We walked in around 3:20PM on a Friday afternoon, it wasn’t super busy but they had their fair amount of crowd. We were seated right away, and the hostess was friendly. Our waiter came over after about 5 mins with water, and by then we were ready to order. We got the house style pan fried noodles (comes with shrimp, chicken), an order of pork soup dumplings, and a honey pineapple milk drink ( I can’t recall the exact name, but it was by far one of the best boba drinks I’ve had). Food came out relatively quick and it was DELICIOUS. I definitely enjoyed this place and glad we visited.
While walking in china town we stopped here to have lunch. Although they were busy we were seated very quickly and served even faster. The crab soup dumplings were amazing and the vegetable lo mein was so fresh and seasoned well.
Had a delightful dining experience, the restaurant located in a prime spot between Chinatown and Little Italy. The Shanghainese food was incredibly tasty, reminiscent of the dishes I enjoyed in Shanghai and a signature dish I had in Hong Kong. The ambiance was clean and tidy, which added to the overall experience. One of the best features was that the dumplings 小籠包, 酸辣湯were made to order, resulting in them being fresh and juicy, definitely a must-try. Overall, this restaurant is good for finding authentic Shanghainese cuisine, and fit for business casual dinning.
Absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was cheap but made me full with flavor and extraordinary taste! The food was seriously very good and these were the best dumplings I've had! However, I would like to add that you should clean up a bit and tidy up the space. Other than that, this was an amazing experience, thank you!
My daughter loves this place. We have been coming for years and she can’t get enough of the soup dumplings. We always get the Shanghai fried rice and the sesame chicken. The service is fast, and the staff is really friendly. You won’t get any cell phone service here, but it’s a plus, forces you to fully engage with the person you are with.
