I’ve always been a big fan of their Chinatown location, and the new UES location is just as good! A bit pricier but with bigger portions. The place was clean, not crowded, and the staff was super friendly. Spicy beef noodles are the best, and the dumplings are amazing too!
Forgot to take mouth-watering pictures before we devoured all dumplings. We came in before 7pm where it was empty inside but the kitchen was bustling. As we waited and ate our food, lots of people came strolling in to pick up and dine-in. It’s a small place but with big flavor. While there is a variety of food, we craved dumplings and this place delivered. We tried the steam and fried pork and chive dumplings and soup dumplings. Fried dumplings made this way is exactly how we remember it in one of our favorite places in Houston. They also sell wholesale frozen dumplings ($15/50 pieces). Can’t wait to make them at home. Johnson (hope I remembered your name correctly!) took our order and served us. It seems like he’s the boss/owner as he made sure all dishes were to perfection. If it wasn’t
nice small dumpling and noodle place. We tried the steamed veggie dumplings and the Sichuan style dumplings. i like them.
Amazing, wonderful, beautiful, outstanding. I have not stopped thinking about these noodles since I’ve put them in my mouth. I got some kind of spicy noodle with no broth, and boyfriend got dan dan noodles I think. We also got the dumplings as an appetizer. Everything was OUTSTANDING. We came around 8:00 on a weekday after a huge rush, and they still were able to put love into their food and get it out in a timely manner. The guy at the front was awesome and a great people person. They also had some really delicious beverages! I’d recommend to anybody I love. This place was amazing.
The owner and his son are the highlight of my experience here. The son is so much fun to talk to and is one of the best people to have in a service industry. He helped us know what to avoid given my wife’s dietary restrictions and also made an extra effort to make dumplings that could match her restrictions. The food has so much wonderful spice. Their mount Qi noodles are such a highlight on any cold day and it’s one of the reasons I went there 4 times across two weeks
