Super Chix - Chicken & Custard

Busy, happy opening day! The servers were efficient and joyful. So many choices. I got the chicken sandwich with the avocado and ranch dressing. The fries with salt and rosemary were delicious. Only meant to try a few, but ate the them all. Noisy but we were able to talk and it was great to see the new restaurant so busy.

Cool atmosphere! The chicken was seasoned/sauced well but it was tough in the middle. The custard was good but it was a bit pricy, would try it again though. Thought the service was fun but they definitely forgot about our custard order then had to remake it. Will give them another try, the sauce bar was pretty cool and the sauces were tasty!

We stopped by for lunch and shared the 5 piece tender tossed in Nashville hot sauce. The chicken was very tasty, and I definitely appreciate that it’s actual chicken, not some weird slurry concoction. It was also seasoned good. The Nashville hot was a sauce and not oil based like other ones, which was a nice change of pace. The fries were a bit thin, but not bad, and a regular size was more than enough to share. There is a self serve bar with very good ranch, and the aforementioned Nashville sauce. I think getting the sauces on the side is the way to go, as getting them tossed leaves room for the breading to get soggy. We also ordered a custard. No complaints, just a smooth and sweet custard! We visited Super Chix at their new West Ashley location and were thoroughly impressed. The chicken tenders were crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, truly tender perfection in every bite. The cheese fries were gooey, indulgent, and generously smothered in rich, melty cheese, making them completely irresistible. The Reese’s Cup custard was absolutely on point, creamy, decadent, and the perfect sweet finish. Portions were huge, easily enough for both lunch and dinner, which made the value outstanding. On top of the amazing food, the service was great, friendly, attentive, and efficient, and the restaurant was spotless and welcoming. Overall, an excellent experience, and we will definitely be back.

I got the tenders with fries & cheese sauce. My husband got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with fried pickles. Everything was delicious! The sauces are great. The employees were kind and helpful with the menu. The only thing is that the food was a bit pricey for the portion size.
