Pisco Mar Peruvian Coastal Cuisine

I ate here a bit ago but good lord was it amazing. This is coming from a 1st generation Peruvian American, this is as authentic as it gets. The chef did an amazing job with the history behind all the dishes and we even got a live performance from the chef and his guitar. If you are interested in exploring a new cuisine this is the place to go!

WOW!!! Charleston needed this!!! What a unique experience! We went out for my birthday and couldn't pick a better place to celebrate. Still so humbled by the whole experience. The authenticity of the food, the flavors, the love put into everything, the genuine approach, the people...the cocktails were a nice surprise too! Then the beautiful surprise by chef Esteban at the end!!! Definitely going back as soon as we get a chance!

We had an amazing time with Chef Esteban, Deanna, and Marco. The food was incredibly delicious and Chef Esteban’s passion for sharing his culture made the experience even better. Highly recommend! Come hungry, and save room to try all of the courses, especially the delicious dessert.

A must do in Charleston!! One of the best food experiences I’ve ever had. Chef Esteban was amazing, explained every dish we had and gave us brief history on all the dishes. I will be recommending this to all friends and family who visit Charleston.

Pisco Mar, where do I begin? We have been hoping for a Peruvian restaurant in Charleston for years. However, this isn’t just a place with INCREDIBLE food, though. We left Pisco Mar with dinner, a show, and a new friend. My husband is from Peru, so I have had my fair share of Peruvian food for the last 5 years. Esteban is a whole new level for us. The flavors in his food, brought back fond childhood memories for my husband. I still can’t get the smile off his face. If 8 courses of the most delicious food isn’t enough, Esteban serenaded us with his guitar. His voice is as sweet as his suspiro.
