I've been craving jerk chicken for a while. Thought I would give them a try. Not very welcoming, even have their lunch menu sign blocking you from going too far in. On the other side of the sign, they have a chain to keep you in the front. My preference on jerk is that the sauce be a sauce, here it's more of a gravy. It even has a gravy powder taste. I was asked if I want mild or hot, but if that was hot I doubt the mild has ANY flavor. For heat, I would call it more bland, than hot! Basic flavor was good, not great but good. Cabbage was probably better yesterday🤔, but did have a better than average flavor. I'm not sure how to put this, but it's like the lady taking your order has to pay for her words. Should’ve read the reviews. Everything is BLAND. Mac and cheese was a solid block of unflavored cheese. Oxtails had no flavor, idk how that happens. Yam had this weird after taste and the rice tasted like it was a day old. It was SOOOOO hard

Sorry I didn’t show you the full serving because as soon as the smell hit my nose …it was over with. I got curry chicken, yams and rice and peas. Definitely going for round 2

The food here is amazing! We smelled the food and followed our nose. We were not disappointed! We got the Jerk Chicken, rice and peas, and Mac and cheese and everything was so good!!! The chicken was so juicy and tender it was falling off the bone. We will be going back. Edit 5/3/2024: So we went back! It's still great. This time we got the ox tail and a beef patty. Both are amazing! Neither was too salty or sweet and they both had the best flavor. I wasn't able to get a picture of the beef patty because I just devoured it but I do have a picture of the ox tail.

Ox tails are the best we've had but the yams, cabbage and sweet plaintains were also delicious.
