SOMMER FREEZE

What a beautiful day in Buckroe Beach. We had the grandkids at the Buckroe playground and were looking for some Ice Cream. We came across this cute little ice cream shop called Sommer Freeze. I had the Salted Caramel Brownie Ice Cream in a Waffle Cone. The little ones had rainbow swirl in a cup with gummy bears on the top. There is an unbelievable amount of flavors. Stop in for great ice cream.

This ice cream shop instantly feels like home. The staff greet you with genuine smiles, the place is cozy and welcoming, and the flavors taste like someone bottled up pure joy. I came in after a long day, and left with a cone, a smile, and a reminder that little treats make life sweeter. Stop by if you’re in the area!!

We got the Banana Pudding ice cream, Cherry Vanilla ice cream, Krazy Kookie Dough, and their Pineapple soft serve. All of them were sooooooo good!!! The owner was so nice! We will be coming back for more!!

Sommer Freeze isn't just an ice cream shop; it's a delightful escape. I've been there numerous times, and each visit has been a treat. Here's why I give them five stars: Unforgettable Strawberry Cheesecake: Their strawberry cheesecake ice cream is a masterpiece. It's the perfect balance of creamy cheesecake flavor and sweet, fruity strawberry swirls. Every spoonful is pure bliss. Variety of Flavors: Beyond my personal favorite, they offer a wide range of flavors. From classic favorites like chocolate and vanilla to more unique options like salted caramel. Its proximity to the beach makes it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy your ice cream.

This was our first visit. The milkshakes were ok, nothing spectacular. I was hoping for something different than mediocre. It was good because it was delicious blue bell ice cream. I think maybe for the first time, I should have chosen a waffle cone with a few different flavored scoops! The salted caramel with brownie wasn't the right choice for the shake. It was hard to get a sip w brownie chunks bigger than the straw filling the bottom of the cup. I should have thought the choice through. I asked for a suggestion and went with it! The husband got cookies n cream milkshake with whipped cream. It was good but nothing spectacular. We spent $17 for two small shakes. The service was friendly and fast. We will try again another time.
