GO HERE FOR BREAKFAST! We were recently visiting Foxwood Casino traveling in and out of the New London, CT Amtrak depot. I did some research on where to have breakfast the morning of our departure as we had a few hours to kill. We went with the reviews of Sunrise. We walked in to a very home like restaurant; nothing fancy and knew we would get a good breakfast. Luis was our server and he was kind and helpful. The restaurant filled up quickly but our food and service were perfect. The price is reasonable for the quantity of food. We both ordered an egg and meat breakfast but my husband added on french toast. it was the best! Wonderful notes of nutmeg and cinnamon. I'm still shocked he ate it all all though I had a few bites. Highly recommend.

Luis our server was so helpful and the food was outstanding! We got two dishes off the back page, Peruvian dishes, and they did NOT disappoint.

Amazing food. Very tasty!!! Two different plates from two different visits. Ceviche mix and steak and eggs. Delicious !!!

Luis was a man on a mission. Never missed a beat, genuine and as nice as can be. Food was amazing. Def be back again even for a day road trip. Luis already has something in mind for me to try next time. Btw...the homemade hot sauce is bangin. We'll worth it
