I’ll never stop recommending Sunnyside Pizzeria. Every visit reminds me why it’s one of my favorite pizza spots in Atlanta. The Hot Honey Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings completely stole the show. The sauce was liquid gold, sweet, slightly spicy, and so good I saved every bit left to dip my crust into. Easily my favorite appetizer on the menu. We also shared the Caesar Salad, which was the perfect classic, crisp, fresh, simple, and done exceptionally well. When it comes to pizza, the Hot Honey Char is my personal favorite and a must-order every time. That said, every pizza we’ve tried here has been amazing. The Fig Pancetta is perfectly balanced with a touch of sweetness from the figs, and my husband loved the BBQ Chicken Pizza, a newer menu item made with their homemade BBQ sauce that quickl

Big thanks to the manager Jose & our server Dejon for their phenomenal hospitality. For our app we tried the honey hot lemon pepper wing special & the Burrata Board. I’ve never in my life had honey hot the way it was made here, on top of them being fried to perfection. The manager let us know it was made in house & you could tell!! Okkkkk, you guys the BURRATA BOARD was so good, I wanted more after we finished it was fresh, filling and BURSTING with flavor. For our pizzas we tried The truffle, the Atl scoop, the Mumbai & Hot Honey Char. The truffle didn’t disappoint with the delicious caramelized onions. My man & son loved the ATL scoop but it was a bit salty for me. The Mumbai was GOOD, only feed back I had was more mint & also no red sauce just the curry. NOW THE HOT HONEY CHAR LIVED UP

We had the pleasure of having Roman as our server! Very courteous and knowledgeable of the menu items. Our food was amazing and definitely surpassed my expectations! Hot Honey Lemon Pepper wings were amaaaaazing! Pizzas were great and nicely balanced with the cheese/toppings crust! Carbonara was rich and creamy 🥰! This is def a great first time experience! We had a wonderful meal!! The lemon cheesecake martini was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. The hot honey char pizza and truffle pizza were delicious. We ended the meal with biscoff gelato and it was out of this world. The only small con was our drinks didn’t come out until the pizzas did, our waitress said the bar forgot our ticket. Overall a great experience and we will be back.

I really enjoyed my experience at Sunnyside! I heard great things and had really high expectations. Highly recommend making a reservation as this is a popular spot. Parking is free with a dedicated shopping center lot. I ordered the ATL Scoop pizza with marina sauce instead of the buffalo sauce it comes with. It was good! My friend and I split the lemon pepper wings, and they have a slight kick, but were delicious. I also ordered the basil gimlet with tequila and it was so good and refreshing. The staff is amazing! Roman was our waiter and he came in clutch with recommendations and was super attentive and helpful. I’m looking forward to coming back soon!
