Sunnyside Cafe

Cool little hole in the wall joint with great atmosphere and ocean breezes. Our server was very friendly and quick. We enjoyed sitting at a little table outside on the sidewalk. I ordered an omelet with feta cheese and extra hot peppers, and was delighted to get an omelet just busting open with hot peppers! Very tasty. I did not care for the home fries, but they were more than generous with the portions, and I was full when we left.

I had an outing here with a group of Wounded Warriors and it was such a pleasant experience. The cafe has a warm, cozy vibe that makes you want to linger. I ordered a small breakfast plate, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. The portions were just right—enough to feel satisfied without being too heavy. Service was friendly and attentive, and my water cup never went empty. A perfect little spot to start the morning.

#73 Does it get any better when you go out for breakfast, find a place, no wait, excellent service, and outstanding food? I don't think so. I know the All American breakfast is somewhat typical of any breakfast place, but the pièce de résistance (couldn't have been a better opportunity to use that phrase) was the waffle with sautéed peaches, pecans, and a condensed milk glaze. Holy crap! If I had only one word to describe it, it would be decadent. Definitely a must stop if you're out and about looking for breakfast. Now to come back for some lunch and update my review!

Our server, Alex, did a great job and was incredibly attentive from start to finish. The entire restaurant is clean, organized, and clearly well-managed. You can feel the positive energy from the moment you walk in, and it’s no surprise they have so many great reviews. Best of all, it’s just steps from the ocean, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommended!

Wow! THAT FOOD was amazing! Me and my man were on vacation here and had never been here before. Cute SEAT-YOURSELF location with indoor and outdoor seating! Recommend: Philly cheesesteak eggs Benedict North End Scrambler GRITS NATURAL ORANGE JUICE APPLE JELLY SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO OUR WAITER AUTUMN! Ladies came around asking if we needed a top of coffee, and everyone was super, super nice! Will be making this my new breakfast place when we come back!
