Went here after our regular coffee shop stopping serving turbinado sugar as this sugar goes best in gourmet coffees. This is our second time here, the first time was great, the second time not so. For a place that serves a sauce Rockies sauce, you would think they would put enough on the sandwich to taste it, also the sausage they serve on their breakfast sandwiches was very bland, lacking any flavor. Though the portions were large, the entire atmosphere was too scattered and not calm as a beachside coffee cafe should be. The staff comprises of young adults most likely still in school or just starting college, they are not skilled in service. Needless to say, this will no longer be a stop for us. Rockies Café is a spacious spot that perfectly combines a mountain-lodge feel with beachside vibes. The food is excellent and the coffee is outstanding. Their lattes are the real deal: a true large latte comes with four shots, and it’s smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced. The outdoor patio is dog-friendly and the indoor space is ideal for working, relaxing, or meeting friends or clients. The atmosphere is inviting, the service is friendly, and every visit feels like a treat. If you’re in Melbourne Beach and love great coffee shop, Rockies Café is a must!

This new little spot in Melbourne Beach is truly a gem—and exactly the kind of café this sleepy town has been needing. Stepping inside feels like walking into a cozy beachside coffee shop you’d expect to find in Northern California. For me, it was like a little slice of home. The food is delicious! I had the Chattanooga chicken tacos, and they were so good. The order comes with three, but they’re really filling—I only managed two and handed the third to my partner. What makes them unique is the fresh strawberries on top paired with their signature “Rockie sauce.” It’s unexpected but absolutely works. The vibe inside is just as great as the food. The framed surf art, dark blue walls, and funky furniture give it so much character. There’s also a nice patio out front and convenient parking

June 19th 2025 This place absolutely rocks (pun intended). We stopped by this morning for breakfast and a quick video showcasing the best spots in Melbourne Beach on our way to an Open House, and this place did not disappoint! The menu is easy to read and understand, the staff is super friendly, and the interior design is very bright and sunny - an overall great way to start our day! The food and drinks were also fantastic - we will absolutely be stopping by again! P.S. - If you run into trouble finding parking out front, there are additional spaces in the back!
