Port d'Hiver Bed and Breakfast

I can't even. This place has got it locked down. Wonderful staff, lovely room, great breakfast, amazing grounds, perfect location. Choose your room wisely. Some are in new buildings and some in historic ones. We stayed in the main house in a smallish room with an amazing balcony looking at the ocean. It was clean, well presented and had lovely historic charms. If you prefer a less historic well done larger room, opt for some of the newer rooms towards the back of the property looking at the pool. Either way the entire place is fantastic and any time I return to the area I will stay here.

We had a quick stay at this beautiful property as we were sailing out of Port Canaveral the next day. The rooms were beautiful and service very friendly. The added amenities were a plus. We grabbed a few beach chairs the afternoon we arrived and walked across the street to enjoy the ocean views. As the evening arrived we enjoyed wine hand hordevors bt the outside fire pit. Tons of restaurants close by to choose from. We ventured to the Chart House for a lovely dinner. Breakfast on pur deck the next morning was a perfect start to our eventual sail away. A quick 40 minute drive to port and we were off. Wished we could stay longer!

Wonderful from start to finish. The location, buildings, decorations on the grounds are beautiful. It is right on the corner, the beach across the street. There are several fantastic restaurants within walking distance. The hot tub was wonderful, there's also a jetted tub in our room which was great. I'm going to add that this place had the best pillows that I've ever come across at any accommodation. Everything just absolutely spectacular. We will be going back! ☀️

Had a truly EXCEPTIONAL experience! Stayed in Charlotte's Suite and it was everything one could hope for and more. The personal touches from the personalized welcome card on the bed, the huge cookies at the coffee bar in the suite to the ice cream, snacks and soft drinks being available all the time are touches you just don't find elsewhere! The suite was absolutely beautiful (just like the pictures) and I cannot say enough about the outstanding customer service from Lauren and Kaitlin. We were fortunate enough to arrange our schedules to stay an extra night and they made it happen. Oh and who can forget about the great breakfast option they have complimentary. Being in hotel ownership, I recognize the extraordinary service they provided!

Port D’hiver is a beautiful, unique and well maintained property. The exceptional service begins as soon as you make the call to book a room. The staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. It is truly a special place. We stayed in Walter’s suite which had lovely views in every direction. The wrap around patio looks out over beautiful Melbourne Beach as well as views of the courtyard fountain & flowering shrubs etc. Do not miss the hot tub! The waterfall flowing over the rocks gave a peaceful, meditative aura nestled among mature native Florida flora. The temp was perfect for us and it was clear blue and soothing. We live only 30 mins away but even though it was only a night, it was truly like a mini vacation.
