Was looking for a breakfast place and honestly picked this because it was the closest to where we were staying. The price to quality ratio on the food was a bit skewed in my opinion. They did keep the coffee refilled but other than that it just was alright. There was also a 4% surcharge added to the bill before payment which was also not explained. For a pot of eggs and potatoes, the eggs Benedict, a side of hash browns. (Yes both mains did not come with a side) and 2 drinks it was almost $50 out the door.

We had both a delicious breakfast and a good time at the restaurant today. The decor was funky and the service was great. Our food was easily customized to fit our desire. Our waiter even hand stamped a few more of the little silverware envelopes with ‘bees’ for us to take. We would go back anytime!

I wish I could leave a positive review, but unfortunately our experience was not a good one. To start, the menu was extremely difficult to understand. The layout and options were confusing, and many of the combinations felt unclear rather than intentional, which made ordering frustrating. On top of that, several members of the staff were noticeably rude to our group. While our waitress herself was pleasant, others were not. At one point, a staff member came over to ask if we wanted coffee and deliberately excluded one person in our party, stating he was “not speaking to him” and directing the question elsewhere in a very dismissive tone. First time. Will visit again. Smiling, friendly bunch. French toast breakfast was delicious. Homemade bread, thick lovely bacon served quick with a smile. We loved it. Worth the drive from our hotel in Petoskey. Deliciously yummy.
