Sunday Pond Bed & Breakfast

Our room was small but comfortable enough. Location is convenient but right on the highway so car noise can be an issue. Common areas were charming but a little dirty (unless the cobwebs were decorations?). The bathroom was…carpeted, which is kind of gross. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment…picture a hotel continental breakfast, but take away anything hot. Just a collection of granola bars, plain bagels, sad fruit, those travel sized cereal things. Keurig coffee. No cooking whatsoever. Just…lazy. Also don’t be fooled, this property is not on a pond.

What a wonderful place! Leslie and Dick are wonderful hosts providing virtually anything one might need and all with a boundless attitude. We only spent one night but it was blissfully quiet and comfortable. Our self serve breakfast was perfect as we needed to get going early. We stayed in the house but met a guest from one of the lean-tos who raced about it. We'll definitely be back!

I came here with family and a friend, it’s kind of hard to find from the road. It is an out-of-the-way place, but a welcome change to city life. The rooms are smaller, but very comfortable. The bathrooms for the first two ground rooms are across the hall, but that’s no big deal. We were out doing things by late mornings. But the common area was nice for reading, relaxing and watching the Super Bowl. The owners were very nice and knowledgeable about stuff to do in the area, and great to talk with. At the time they were only serving breakfast, which worked for us, and we had quit a selection of of food. There are a lot of knickknacks in the common area which I think are interesting to look at and give the place more interesting! Great place to stay and great hosts! Can’t wait to stay again!

Absolutely charming, quiet, peaceful, friendly, warm, restful, lots of character - good value for cost. Established over many years by a lovely couple who are onsite. Close to Tupper and Saranac Lake. Lanscape is stunning - amazingly untouched

Our family has returned to stay at Sunday Pond many times over the years. We have stayed inside and in the lean tos, and both are great options! We always enjoy the family style breakfast where we get to converse with the other guests. Dick and Leslie, the hosts, have done a spectacular job at making their bed and breakfast feel cozy and welcoming. They are very nice people and really care about their guests being comfortable. We will certainly come back to stay again!
