Partridge Cottage Guest House

Such a wonderful experience staying at Partridge Cottage. It's the real deal and a true bed and breakfast. Kathleen and Peter had homemade scones, muffins, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs ready for us when we woke up. Fresh coffee and OJ too. The food was amazing. They are so friendly and accommodating. Even greeted us outside as we pulled into the driveway. The hospitality is unmatched. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. We love staying at Partridge Cottage and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Saranac Lake area.

Peter and Kathleen are extremely AWESOME hosts. Her breakfast are ALWAYS amazing, you leave hungry your own fault. (3) big bedrooms, great rate, friendly guests to meet, lots of things to do near by. A MUST PLACE to STAY in Saranac Lake. They have a new Burmese Mt. Puppy, but can't remember her name. She is very loving, friendly, & obedient. Peter drove my trk to/from kayaking locations. Been there 4 times, can't say enough, you'll understand when you go.

Kathleen and Peter provide an amazing experience at the Partridge Cottage. Hands-down, one of our best AirBnB experiences ever. Kathleen is a delight to talk to. She is such a happy infectious soul. She knows everything about the area and told us where to drive for fall colours as we had arrived a bit early for full-blown fall. She recommended restaurants to eat at. Might I add, she serves an awesome breakfast herself. Those scones with apple butter were delicious. If you are in the area, you should stay here.

We loved our stay with Kathleen and Peter. Every morning we woke up to freshly baked homemade scones and muffins (hands down the best I've ever had), homemade yogurt (again, the best Greek yogurt I've ever had), homemade granola (toasted to perfection), homemade jam, fresh fruit bowls etc. We were sent off on our adventures with a heavenly breakfast each day. Kathleen was a wealth of knowledge and made the perfect recommendations for us, from the best lakes to paddle, which reliable company to rent canoes from, to which trails are good climbs for us, taking note of our mild knee issues. She also suggested for us to swim in certain lakes nearby, which was the perfect finale after hiking on a hot summer day. Both Kathleen and Peter were so warm and personable, and made us feel welcomed

As a spur of the moment adventure, me and my fiancé drove from Canada to hike Mt. Marcy in the Adirondacks, and were able to book a stay at the Partridge Cottage through Air Bnb. We are so grateful to have experienced a stay here! After a full day of extreme hiking, this place was exactly what we needed! Kathleen and Peter are incredible hosts, and the homemade breakfasts are to die for. These lovely people were a joy to interact with, and have set the bar very high for all our future B&B stays. We will definitely be back, now that we know they exist! Thanks again Kathleen and Peter!
