Sundae Best Boardwalk Cafe

Oh my I have not have had ice cream in awhile, but I had a craving for some. While on my break I got some home made ice cream from Sundae Best and I was so excited and happy that I found this place and tried them out...OMG the best in Avalon next to Avalon Pizzeria they are such a great pair for the taste buds and the hunger or just to chill.. My favorite place to enjoy my lunch or have a great snack while I'm delivering in Avalon. I highly recommend 💯💯♥️♥️♥️♥️

I ordered a 2 scoop sugar cone, and was given a dish of ice cream with a cone stuck on top. I thought it was a mistake. Then all 5 of us in the group got cups with a cone on top. Ice cream was delicious, but they don't know how to make a cone...

Honestly, I thought long about writing this review and it pains me to bring attention to the negative experience I had at an ice cream shop, of all places. I travel for ice cream and it is quite often, even out of season to many places on the east coast and beyond. It’s shameful that I had such a bad first visit here at Sundae Best in Avalon on the boardwalk. This was mainly due to the service I received at the window. Young girls tend to have a difficult time managing their attitudes with peers around a relaxed setting and this was no exception. It was evident there was flexibility in their given responsibilities. First and foremost, they treat every single customer as if they were family – with the upmost respect, compassion, and kindness. They are extremely friendly, welcoming and always mindful – they even take the time to get to know their customers on a personal level, first name basis, and often remember their previous orders -- like who does that in this day age!
