Sumi House

Tried a new Japanese spot that just opened today in Cambridge! We ordered the house ramen with beef and egg but swapped the ramen noodles for udon. The broth was really flavorful and probably my favorite part of the bowl! We also got crab rangoon, which was really good. Definitely a nice option if you’re in the area for lunch or dinner.

Very fresh ingredients and great quality sushi. The tuna dumplings and rainbow special were my favorite—absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

A perfectly balanced bowl! The savory, creamy broth is rich without being heavy, and the tender sliced beef pairs beautifully with the generous heap of fresh spinach. The sweet corn and classic fish cakes add a great pop of texture. Hearty, fresh, and deeply satisfying—definitely a must-try for any ramen lover!

Very excited to have a new restaurant in the neighborhood. Ordered sushi for takeout. Ready quickly. Very friendly staff. And two rolls we ordered were delicious (Alaskan and sumo house signature roll). Alaskan roll was a little small compared to what I’m used to from other restaurants but I’m so excited to have a good restaurant around the corner that I’ll happily overlook that.
