Able to get seating at 6pm on a Saturday with a place this good in the middle of U District? How. Chicken Kebab Plate. Can’t go wrong with any dish here though.

Best shawarma on the ave and a pretty reasonable price, especially for places on the ave!

No over exaggeration, this was the BEST lamb gyro platter I’ve ever had. And I’ve been to Greece. The meat is fresh and hot, perfect portions, fantastic price, you can tell it is a family business which I love. I’m only in town for work, but if I’m ever back I would come here again without question!

I had the lamb shawarma, honestly not the best I had better, but if you are in the area and you are hungry works.

I wish I had discovered this Shawarma spot long ago! This is easily one of the best Shawarmas I’ve had. I tried both the Arabic Shawarma and the regular chicken Shawarma, and they were both great—but the Arabic Shawarma is incredibly close to the authentic taste. The Saj bread takes it to another level! Maybe the Arabic Shawarma without onions would make it absolutely perfect, but overall, it’s amazing. I visit all the way from Everett just for this, and it’s totally worth it. A must-try spot, and I’ll definitely be recommending it to friends!
