My family and I make it our business to try everything that they display and we have never been let down!! Ordered a last minute anniversary cake and they were amazing on their prompt service and professionalism. And the cake? The most delicious cake! We ordered a coconut cake with fresh strawberries with glaze and let me tell you.... its was soo good, that my kids ate it and they dont like cakes with fruit! The frosting was on the spit! This just may be a monthly thing...just saying! 😉

Sam and her Sugar Shack crew have been creating delicious desserts and beautifully decorated cookies for our family for years (since before she opened the New Lenox bakery). We have used them for every wedding shower, baby shower, celebration & event and have never been disappointed. They listen to every detail and create exactly what you want. Just last weekend they created the most amazing farmers market themed cookies in the perfect color scheme for my nieces baby shower! The best part is that not only does it look fabulous, everything tastes even better. From the cookies, cupcakes, fruit tarts & trifles to the pecan, lemon & cherry-almond bars, everything is delicious every time! The cakes (main and smash cake) for our one year old’s birthday party turned out amazing! Looked exactly like what I had envisioned and tasted so delicious as well. Everyone who I spoke with at this place, was always very friendly and kind. We will be long time customers!

I wanted to love this place but I wouldn’t recommend. The cheesecake was good but I sent in an inspo picture of a cheesecake that I wanted for a 30th “espresso martini” themed birthday. I communicated that I wanted a cheesecake to resemble the inspo. I wanted the presentation. I understand they couldn’t copy it exactly. I picked up a cheesecake with a presentation that I wanted to cry at when I looked at it. All the lady said was “im sorry you don’t like it, but it has the layers like the picture” . What happened to the top of the cheesecake presentation? I picked this up back in September and I’m still so confused on what happened and what I paid for.
