It’s fun to get off the highway and drive through small towns. If you find yourself in New Lennox, try this charming soft serve stand. I got a pineapple/strawberry sundae and the fruit topping was not too sugary. Ice cream is good quality. Counter teens were friendly!

There's a general nostalgia to this place. Really brings you back to a time when the old dairy queen was that place you went to on a Sunday night to get ice cream before bed. What's really appealing is the price for the amount you get. A small to me there is like a large. 4 inches of chocolate ice cream on top of a small for under 3 dollars. Great place to go if you don't have alot of money.
