Suga & Spice

If you’re looking for good soul food, this is the spot. The portions were generous (I definitely had leftovers 👏🏽) and every bite was packed with flavor. You can taste the love in the seasoning — nothing bland, nothing rushed. Just rich, comforting, perfectly balanced dishes. I’ll absolutely be back.

Food was solid. Got the suga and spice wings (didn’t care for the flavor… very meh), Mac and yams. Mac and yams were delicious! 9/10. Bread pudding was a little dry… 6.5/7 out of 10. Corn bread was good 7.5/10. I will return to try another flavor of wings, they were cooked well.

It was our first time trying, I saw a post on IG and decided to try it. We ordered the jerk crab fries as well as the Not Yo Momma Penne Pasta. They were both delicious, recommend and definitely will be coming back , we want to try other items on the menu. The portion is very generous! On both plates. My wife and I split both dishes. We also ordered a watermelon breeze and they gave us a peach lemonade on the house. Which was very much appreciated.

Suga and Spice is a cozy spot to have dinner. Service was great. Food was served piping hot. If you like heat, have to try the deviled eggs with jerk fried shrimp. Suga and Spice wings had that sweet and sour sauce. The oxtails with yams and greens and cabbage was excellent. Don't forget to try the desserts.

First time here and it met all my expectations. We chose this spot based on all of the reviews and were not disappointed. We were greeted by Joy who helped us work through our indecisiveness. She’s great and checked on us throughout our dining experience. The food was excellent. Jerk wings and lemon pepper shrimp were a 10/10, and the oxtail sliders are must have. We’ll definitely be back.
