Sushinado & Teriyaki

LOVEEEE Sushinodo & Teriyaki! Been here 3 times in 2 weeks and I'm HOOKED. Amazing food, different asian options (Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese…), and even poke. Everything is super fresh, and the portions are perfect for the price! The sushi rolls are creative and delicious, and their teriyaki bowls are on point. They offer lunch special prices Monday to Friday. Plus, the owners are local, an asian couple, probably the owner who makes everything and so friendly - it makes the experience even better and feels comforting and authentic. Perfect spot for a chill dinner or for delivery. A parking garage is nearby and metered street parking is also available. Can't wait to go back!

We were looking for a light dinner near UMD and found this little poke joint. The couple that runs it are the nicest people, they encouraged us to eat away from the front door because of the draft (it was 20F), everything was made fresh, including the eggrolls. They take a lot of pride in what they do and care-they asked us why we were here (a swim meet) and then asked us how long we would be in town (we’re from VA), and insisted we come back the next day. We did and had another great meal there (we did have to take it to go because of timelines). They have made an impression on our kiddo because she keeps asking to go back. Great little spot, highly recommend.

SO YUMMY!!! The sushi burritos are amazing! I got the Crouching Dragon Burrito (Tempura Shrimp, Carrot, Cucumber, Lettuce, Avocado, Teriyaki Sauce) - I added eel sauce, which was clutch. The wontons were also delicious. The sushi burritos are share-sized in my opinion! I couldn’t finish it! Great service. Wish they had more seating options, but it’s perfect for pickup - they also don’t use plastic bags (they are thin fabric bags). I will definitely be back!

The owners are so lovely and welcoming. I love their shrimp and fried rice and the fact that I can change the spice level depending on my taste. (I recommend getting it spicy).

Such a nice spot with kind, friendly owners! I tried the tempura sushi burrito and the veggie ramen! Both were delicious. Would recommend!
