the food is consistent and has flavor and color. but it can improove. I love it, dont get me wrong. request a Coleslaw. it was really sweet. you can try adding some vinegar or something to make it soursweet. i tried and woow... maybe with ur tartar sauce. loved it. try also the fried shrimp with a little of gravy. but love it. thats why is popular. low a little sweet with potato salad. adding some relish.

The food is usually pretty good here. The portion sizes have shrunk a little bit and the Mac n cheese could use some serious work. Overall, it's still pretty good.

Horrible, the crab cakes and salmon were burnt, the greens bland, it was not worth the over $50 + we spent.. go look and try sample if they let you, but they really should care more about the quality of the food, even the mixed tea was tasting like swamp water. Candid yams was overwhelmed with too much nutmeg, is all you could taste in them, the grens were kinda slimy salty, the back beans had minimal flavor. This is not a quality place to eat. The fish was ok at least but overall we were highly disappointed. There showed and you could taste the lack of love and effort put into the dishes. The need better cooks and more food quality control over the chef. 0 zero votes from us.

I've been eating here off/on for 20 years. The food starts off really good, and then the quality slowly begins to decline. They closed for several years and recently reopened last year. The cycle continues. Right now, the food is so terrible the last 5 times it gave me a terrible case of diarrhea. I will not ever go back anymore!

So If i need to update my review if I order something else, I will. But I ordered fried shrimp, fries, tea and lemon cake. All of it was Good. I also ordered a crab cake. It was ok, not bad at all. Just wish they had cornbread.
