I just found out about this place on 1/20/2026, and had my first order with them on 1/21/26 and let me tell yall, the food is so good! There’s a bit of a wait since the food is made to order, but you won’t regret it🙂‍↔️ everything has great flavor and isn’t salty or anything of the sort, it’s all balanced so well! It was so good, I came back the next night on 1/22 for the oxtail bowl😂. Oxtail are tender to perfection, the cabbage and Rasta pasta sides are soooo good! Everything is a 20/10!

I’ve been seeing this food truck on Instagram and wanted to try. As a first time customer I was excited to try. I decided to give it a try when he was offering $10 plates. I got two Rasta pastas, side of fried chicken, cabbage and Mac and cheese. The Rasta was dry and not saucy enough. The fried chicken tasted microwaved. After that I was turned off and didn’t even taste the cabbage or Mac. So needless to say I will not be returning. 0 ⭐️

I had a horrible first time experience... Tried to pre-order on IG but DM went unanswered. Tried to call the number on the truck, line not in service. Post said one entree and two sides for $10. At the window it's now one side... Even went as far as saying "I say this everyday" but your post said otherwise and multiple people brought that to your attention Ticketing system is HORRIBLE!!! 2 hours and 17 minutes for a $10 platter is insane No apology, nothing to compensate for the inconvenience, literally NOTHING! Fried rice was burnt! Had a shrimp shell in my bowl smh The customer service is lackluster. I shouldn't have to remind you of what I ordered 4 times! The guy selling drinks should learn your menu and be fulling trained on how you like to do things or stick to selling drinks. Every

Rasta pasta was dry and the yellow rice was hard. Cooked too fast and I could've made better salmon. Food was packed in 1 tray after I asked for my yams on the side. Mac& cheese also dry

I love everything about La Hayes Kitchen! From how good the food is, to how personable the owner and staff are. Although we’re in Maryland, this food truck offers true authentic Jamaican vibes and flavors, just as if you were roadside in your favorite parish back in JA. Try them for lunch, or for dinner. My fav dishes by LaHayes? The snapper escovitch style and curry goat. 😋
