Stormin Norman's Barbeque

Stopped by Stormin’ Norman’s Barbeque and they did not disappoint! If you’re looking for true Eastern NC–style barbecue and good old-fashioned comfort food, this spot is worth the visit. The fried chicken was hot, crispy, and well-seasoned — you can tell it’s made fresh. The plate came with crinkle-cut fries and hushpuppies, and everything was cooked just right. The portions were solid for the price, and the food had that classic down-home flavor. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a fun chalkboard menu that makes ordering easy. Service was friendly and quick, which always makes the experience better. If you’re in Eastern North Carolina and craving BBQ or fried chicken, you should definitely check them out. I’ll be back!

Went thru drive thru spent $10 including taxes order 2pc dark chicken plate? Comes with one side and no drink? Staff was as expected? Only thing I don't like is when getting to window waiting to receive order (food) I had to wait without being acknowledged until cashier took about 2 or 3 other customers with my food ready to purchase? Meanwhile my dinner was getting cold? I do think customers will want to know what's the hold up instead of just have u wonder especially if food is hot and ready to eat?

The food used to be good but last few times Ive been there it’s not been all that good. Hushpuppies were so full of grease couldn’t even eat them. The bbq was kinda blahhhh not much taste at all. 😒

Ok place family run service was very pleasant and food was decent. Coleslaw is very chopped almost like it’s grated so it was not what I expected but appreciated that is was mayo diary. I ordered 2 dishes chicken n ribs platter. Fried chicken was delicious but I don’t like the taste of the pulled pork and the ribs tasted as if they were just baked in the oven n had no bbq smokiness.i assume the bbq style food was probably better.. Lemonade had so much sugar beyond sweet.

Service very friendly. Food good and reasonably priced. Would be nice if they had fountain drinks vs cans. $1.89 for a $0.50 can of coke is a bit much.
