Stock's Manor

I recently attended a wedding here and while the "ballroom" we were in was lovely, the venue was just okay, and venue coordinator was deeply disappointing. Parking was a mess. The guests weren’t informed that handicap parking even existed — and apparently the only TWO handicap spaces for the entire venue were taken by the parents, leaving an older guest with a cane to climb a set of uneven concrete stairs. Aside from the main room we were in, the rest of the house was poorly lit (I guess they were going for a moody vibe), and while the bathrooms were clean, the bar area was inexplicably small for the size of the event. We had a wonderful experience staying at Stock's Manor this past October. In PA for our son's wedding which was to be held at Stock's Manor, we booked the two rooms available. My husband and I had a large, comfortable room overlooking rolling hills. The bed was extremely comfortable! My sister stayed in the other equally delightful room available. The rooms were cleaned and tidied each day. Our hosts, KJ and Stephen, were very congenial, providing us with ideas for places to eat and with driving directions for sights to see, as well as a lot of laughs. Breakfasts each morning were varied and substantial. We enjoyed our time sitting over coffee and talking. The venue for the wedding was lovely (even in spite of a torrential downpour). Stock’s hosted our wedding on 11/21/2025 and it was truly the best day of our lives. Every little detail was taken care of and the staff was wonderful. Amber is wonderful and they are flexible affordable. Our wedding day was better than I ever imagined! I can’t recommend Stocks enough!!

Breakfast was outstanding! I was able to take a brisk walk in the morning. The grounds were really pretty and had some ruins to add to the experience. I am hoping to stay again.

We were fortunate to stay 3 nights at Stocks Manor. We were in the area for our 35th anniversary. The only drawback was our room was on the 2nd floor. There were no main floor rooms. With a hip replacement and bad knee and back it was challenging to go up and down the stairs sometimes 2-3 times a day. Our room was very nice and comfortable with a private bathroom. KJ and Stephen are very nice hosts easy to talk to and very accommodating. Breakfast every morning was wonderful. Fresh fruits, pancakes, frittatas, coffee, yogurt. All with complete place settings on fine china. Made us feel very special. The Manor and grounds are beautiful and I could easily see it as the perfect wedding venue. I would definitely recommend a stay for any occasion.
