We love the crusty rye sourdough, so tasty, and great to know it's healthy bread made from real sourdough starter by a local friend and baker! Easy payment and pickup, too!

How do I fairly review a baker that is so obviously committed and passionate about the craft of baking??? And beyond that, a wonderful individual who is committed to sprinkling bits of floury joy to all of those she encounters?? We make some awesome cinnamon rolls in our own household, but we happily lay down our rolling pin in order to feast upon the rich decadence that comes from Hattie's Bread Box. Our kids have openly stated that her cinnamon rolls are right up there with the best in the area. Harriet incorporates just the right ratios of everything: icing, cinnamon, sugar, and doughy goodness. And that sourdough!! You can't go wrong with her classic sourdough: great as a grilled cheese, wonderful as a bread pudding, even more amazing as an overnight french toast casserole. But what'

So far, we have purchased the Sourdough and and English muffins. Both are great!! My wife and I finished most of the 1st loaf as soon as we got home. I've used the Sourdough to make the best grilled cheese I've ever had. The baker/owner is really nice & super fun to talk to. I encourage everyone to check this place out!!! I'm looking forward to trying the sweets next time.

If you haven’t tried Hattie’s sourdough bread yet you are missing out on a delicious treat. She sends out a menu every Wednesday advising what she is baking for Saturday pick up. I’ve tried most of them and they are all delicious. She also makes cinnamon rolls and sells pizza dough to bake at home. Do yourself a favor and get some.

This place is amazing! Nothing beats fresh baked bread made with love and without all the yucky preservatives that store bought bread has. The large sourdough loaves are amazing for garlic bread! Big hit in my family! There’s just something special about shopping and supporting local as well! Hattie knocked it out of the park! We love her breads!! Next on the list is her famous cinnamon rolls!
